What is this?!

Two posts in one day? This is madness! Anyhow, since I wrote that last haiku, I got to thinking...about haikus....haha. Anyway, awhile back I wrote a poem using the wind as a sort of character who suffers at the hands of mankind. This haiku (well two combined into one) is from that. I'm thinking I may post my other poem the haiku came from later....hmmm....

When the wind dies down
I think: is the wind's voice lost?
Or has she just...ceased?

For mankind kills her,
Chokes her breath away until
there is nothing left.
